Indian Play

Last night I dreamed that I put together a show in India, using Indian nationals for all the roles, as well as all the production positions. The show was financed in part through a grant and then through matching funds from individuals and businesses. The idea of the show was to provide training for impoverished people in a craft and well as to give them a viable income. The hope was that the product would eventually be self-sustaining and provide a way for the arts to help improve people’s lives both spiritually and economically.
